Villa Likos and Guesthouse

An independent luxury guest house sleeping 4, in 2 ensuite bedrooms, with its own separate entrance. The option of adding of a 2-bedroom guest house to supplement the 3 bedrooms of Villa Likos offers a perfect solution for larger groups, creating 5 bedroom suites for a maximum of 10 persons. The guest house can only be taken in conjunction with Villa Likos. The Guesthouse is luxurious and spacious with an open-plan living/dining room, fully air conditioned, with TV and comfortable sitting area and stunning sea views.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with Super King beds each having ensuite shower rooms with walk in showers, double basins and WC. Villa Likos sleeps 6 and accommodation is distributed over two floors. The Master suite occupies the whole of the upper floor, and has its own private balcony with shade and sun and, of course, those superb and uninterrupted views. A full bathroom and massive dressing room complete the facilities

The ground floor provides one spacious open-plan living area, with ample comfortable seating and TV area, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It is worth noting that the unusual dining table is constructed from reclaimed Indian railway sleepers protected by glass. There is also a designated study area, cloakroom and shower, and a maid’s room with separate access.
Here we have two guest bedroom suites with dressing room areas and en suite shower rooms with walk-in showers. The house is fully air-conditioned throughout and for the further convenience of guests, all curtains are electrically opened and closed at the touch of a button.

Villa Likos is a fine example of modern architecture that complements the grandeur of its setting without competing with it. Walls that are almost entirely fashioned from glass, balconies with invisible dividers, are all focused on the stunning view.

Inside, the house is decorated in muted tones that echo the natural textures of its materials, pale stone walls, glossy oak floors and beautiful exposed ceiling beams, painted white in traditional Corfiot style. Furnishings are all unique and mostly bespoke.

All ground floor rooms open on to a broad wraparound terrace that is furnished with two sofas angled round a striking hand hammered brass coffee table from Indonesia. There is also an elegant dining area set up for eight. Garden dining area is housed under a wrought iron pergola draped with a wisteria vine and hung with a beautiful chandelier. A fully stocked bar is conveniently inserted into the wall of the villa adjacent to the pergola dining area.

Perhaps the most beautiful feature of the gardens though, is the breathtaking swimming pool. Designed to resemble a natural rock pool, the 25 metre long freshwater infinity pool is freeform and has an exposed rock face all along one side.
From here there is easy access into the pool, which is open to the incredible 180 degree view over the sea, with its seemingly boundless vista of islands and mainland, due south as far as the eye can see. The pool is 2.80 metres deep at its deepest point.

When the urge for some convivial company arises, there are two outdoor bars and a beautiful al fresco dining area under a wisteria-draped pergola, surrounded by a lawn. The lowest of the terraces, a gentle stroll from the house, is on the seafront, with ladder access to the sea, where there is a floating boat mooring and jetty for boarding boats. The Guest house is a perfect addition for those needing a little bit of extra privacy, yet able to join in with the rest of the group whenever the feel like!
